Are you allowed to run your state championship number instead of your district number. Does it have to be on a blue plate? Or are you only allowed to run it in the top corner on that plate they give you when they announce state champions?

State number does NOT replace District number.

top of page 37 in the ABA 2011 PDF rulebook.

3. The State number plate will feature the rider’s District number in black on a white background and the rider’s rank in the State shall be a 1” white number on a royal blue background in the upper left corner.
4. State number plates can be used at any ABA sanctioned event. These plates can be displayed until the conclusion of the following year’s State Championship Final
event.
