ok...ive found several spots on the web that sell saints for 169.00+. they state 83mm bb shell width. does the spindle length reflect that length also or can a smaller width bb shell be purchased(68/73) and put in place of the longer version? and if so will the spindle stick out of the crank arm? or will there be enough spine space on the spindle to accept the shorter bb shell?

in other less confusing words...can a crankset with 83mm bb shell be converted to fit 68/73mm lengths

83mm is for a specific style frame with a wider shell and does have a much longer spindle. those cranks will not work with a BMX frame.

so, no. they can't be converted.
