I bought these maybe 5 years ago. There are NOS and I was told they were for a Sting. However all these years later I tried to fit them to the frame and the head tube is too short,it measure 5 1/4".

What actually are they?

The Mini Sting came with the exact same fork as "The Sting" except they had a steerer tube for a 4" headtube.
They are probably Mini Sting forks.

I'll second the Mini Sting forks. The Competition still had the same headtube as the Sting.
