Are these "REAL" Hutch cages? I've had them for years and have other cages, but these are much "thicker" metal. On the inside it is stamped BMX one one end and OSR on the other.

I've have 2 sets of these Hutch cages that are the same and I've had them since I rode for Hutch, 83-86 time frame. They are thicker than the other style racing or FS cages, but no stamping on the inside...

Also, I have quite a few sets of Hutch cages and none of them are stamped on the inside. FYI.

Slickone70 on Ebay (Carlos) sold these to me. Thye were supposed to be Original NOS.

Sorry but those aren't originals. As you said, they are noticeably thicker than the originals you have.

I bought a second set from him several weeks after the first. The first set was out being chromed so I didnt notice right away. Im putting them together on a cold rainy day and noticehow different the 2 sets he sent me were. Now, I also have a Candy Blue set I bought from Hutch (clearly repro) but they are identical to the second set I bought from Carlos. Did I get taken twice? or are the cages the same?

Thanks

Well the set you bought from Hutch are actually just a little bit thicker that an original set. It is not noticeable with the naked eye but they are thicker. If you have some calipers you can check that set with the second set you bought from Carlos to see if they are the same or different from each other.

Yes, you are right. So I only got ripped off on one set!
