Need some help confirming my hunch that the set of hubs I have are in fact Profile Gyrolite hubs. They are aluminum shells with aluminum axles and 28H. Based on information I reviewed over at BMXmuseum.com I am fairly confident but wanted to get some feedback as well.

Front hub
Rear hub

And the real mystery is this stem which is all aluminum construction except for the bolts.
Mini stem

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

those are 100% gyrolites!! very cool to see them in 28 hole, not very common.

the stem looks like a ralph's bicycle stem (never saw a one in raw/satin finish though)

Looks like somebody is about to put together a killer mini! I've got a nos Champion mini that could use the McCorkle touch!

Thanks for the feedback guys. These parts came from a JU Racing Mini that I picked up recently but I am actually in the process of building a JMC Mini for my son. Any additional thoughts on that stem? It almost looks homemade but with so many different brands on the market back then I suppose anything is possible.
DAN
Could that stem be a Harbor Lite?

stem looks a bit like a revcore mini i had several years ago.....

there we go, my brain was cramping, I think thats what it is.

upon further thought, it seems to me that the stem is early revcore mini. the one i had was from later in the year (maybe the next year?) and the hole throught the plates was slightly smaller, (by a mm or two maybe......) as a result of the first ones being a bit flexi/weak. dont quote me though.......

Nope, thats not Revcore. Hole is too big. Stem it too long and the back is rounded not squared, Revcore mini stem here

there was no early Revcore mini stem. One one style issued. The above. Could be ralphs could be a homemade copy
kilostoys
ah, there's the revcore i remember! looks like your right about the other one, copy perhaps?

i would love to see pics of that JU "mini" ! i got to hand it to you Alan, you have a uncanny knack for finding some of the "coolest" stuff! I'm so fascinated w/ "DAD-fabricated" ingenuity from back in the day, probably because my own dad did much of the same.
