I lost touch with my old friend, James Ayres. I used to race with him back in Virginia in the 1980s. I last saw him in 2000 in Phoenix at the Winternationals. Back then he was writing for SNAP magazine and then TransWorld BMX.
Just wondered how and what he's doing.

Hey Joey, Yup, I made it with the two youngest kids to the Feb indoors. They were absolutely mesmerized! My son didn't move from his seat on the stands at the bottom of the start hill the entire time we were there. I have a little something in the works for myself right now. It won't be done for the March indoor race but we might go to hang out. Saw some of the old guys which was cool. I'm right here in Del Camino but starting to look for another job.
