Does anybody remember what model Hyper was out in the mid to late 90's that came in translucent green, red and blue? Pics would be great also if anyone has any.

I was part owner in the early days. I think the one your talking about was the first complete bike which came out after I left. I'm pretty sure your talking about the Hornet. Before that was the Metro but we only offered the Metro (when i was there) in Black, Deep Purple, Blue and Chrome.

The boxster frame?
Mr. Smith
There also was a Hyper "Metro" model as well.

The frame I am thinking of was aluminum and was available in translucent colors. I think it may have been the FS 20, although I can not find any pictures of one in any color other than polished aluminum.

anyone know anything about them I just picked 1 up even has the aluminum fork

I think that was Hyper's first bike made overseas. I heard from a vendor who carried them that they were made in Brazil or something. Just contact Hyper they are still in business.

Racer I believe you are wrong.

All of the '96 Metro's & Hornets I purchased from a local whse had Taiwan stickers on them.

Gorgeous tig welds but Tawain.

One year (2001 maybe) my team had a Hyper sponsorship and we got the Boxster frames with translucent paint (green, blue, and red).

O yeah I could be wrong for sure. I left Hyper in 94. Didn't follow it closely but am shocked he went to Taiwan so fast after I left.
Were the Boxsters also made in Taiwan or China? I only know that a vendor I sold bikes to when i was with Hyper and later American told me that he had some Hypers from Brazil. This was in 97/98. Perhaps the Metros went to Taiwan then they tried Brazil for one batch with the FS20 or Hornet etc. Again any questions the guys behind Hyper have been there since day 1. Clay Goldsmid was my partner and workign with him is former legend from New York Jud Ciancio. I'm sure they can answer your questions.

American or Euro BB on the boxster frames?

We had a co-sponsorship on a team I rode for around the same time period and got american bb boxsters and they had, shall we say, not the best chain alignment ever.

They also had polished ones also, and if you hounded the company enough, you could get black also like the owner of our team got.

That fork appears to be a rocket or a Alfamec? Made in Brazil?

I didn't personally run the Hyper frames, but I think they were American BB.
I think I was running a Pro Concept at the time.

All my hypers where american BB. Including the alum boxster. Chainring alignment was dead on the very first time. 44t/16t on redlines. it was a very cool bike. I just gave that boxster away to a kid for my bmx program, first time out ever racing he got 1st place!!!
