So in 86 I had one and sold it 15 plus years ago
I just picked up another and going to resto it for the memory of a 40 year old--hahah
I got into motocross big time and let my memory fade from BMX, so all info and stuff I had hanging around is gone

Anyway, I need the following stuff for info to help me out
I can not find a place to tell mne what it all had on it for stock parts
Plus I do want to upgrade it---but upgrade it period time correct---nothing newwer than say 88

I want to make it blue and white
1. need the paint code in the blue
2. pedals, what name were they
3. saw one on here, blue, has GT BMX stamped on it
4. brakes--what kind, di-comp nippons, 1000's etc? and levers and cables
5. tires?
6. sproket front
7. decal kit
8. pads

I have the frame and fork, headset, fork stand, neck, bars, rear frame stands, as well as the one behind the seat, pro comp wheels (missing axels and freewheel), redline cranks (new school, double oinch type), seat stem and bracket,

I will post a pic up soon for all to see the before shots

I know stuff is going to be hard to find, after resto'n about 15 Yamaha YZ's from the 70's and 80's, but with your help, maybe

Thanks
new old guy

You have an excellent survivor to start with there. I wouldn't even bother repainting it. It's sweet as is.
I'm just seeing this thread for the first time. You should have posted this in the vintage freestyle forum. You would have had a lot more comments on it by now.

I agree great starting point.
Looks like you have a few projects going on.
Is that a Trick Star in the background?

Great bike you're aiming for. Sorry I can't help you with what you're looking for. All I can do is BEG you not to mount that atrociously useless and ugly bolt-on platform under the seatclamp!
