We ( me and few old skool buddies ) had an exchange last night about a city where you could be close to all the action, like events, activities, best tracks, skateparks, etc. A BMX/Freestyle gound zero if you will. One guy said Vegas, other guys said SF, Miami, NY, Philly, SD, Orange County, LA....

So, I thought this deserved it's own thread.

Austin, TX
Ninth Street Trails, Empire mail order, Sundays, Walnut Creek pump track, numerous other trails, Capitol City BMX track, Shiner ride, Midnight rides, Thursday social rides, mtb, road, bike shops, hot women, cold beer, great food, decent weather most of the year, Live Music Capitol of the World, 6th Street....oh and Jason Carnes; what more could you ask for?
