Were these cheapys? I traded a 87 PP frame, fork, stem, clamp, post, mike dominques seat and bars for a complete 88 Compe with dominator seat, new JMC chain, Oury Grips, etc an I'm thinking it was a bad trade
87PC
Which one do you like best? The 88 Compe is not a bad bike. Lower on the model list and not full Chro-mo I believe. You can go to AJKbikes to check out the 88 product catalog for more info.

Open market wise it would be the 87 Pro Performer on top even as just the parts you listed but also would depend on condition of both.

not sure this helps you out but it comes down to you and what you think of the trade.

The Performer had rust, the stickers were sanded off cuz we were gonna paint it, and he said he would Powder it.

The compe is in like mint Codnition, little to no rust, veryy good if not great condition.

Thanks

I'm a dyno rider and always will be, If it's not a pro comp then its not worth it. The 87 pro performer is more admired.

OK THANX, BUT TRADE DEN

It sounds like the trade has been made. Don't dwell on it. Build it up, ride it, have fun.
