After reading through the posts about Rockford, I tip my hat to you Mike and everyone who is helping organize this show. I wanted to come last year and it wasn't in the cards and almost wasnt in the cards this year but I will be making my first trip with 3 bikes! I'm really excited to see all the great rides and meeting everyone.

I have organized competitions for graphic design work here in KC and that was alot of work, I can only imagine what Mike and the crew has to go through. Thanks for all the hard work!!

Are most people sticking around for Sunday's race and setting their bikes/stuff out or taking off and traveling on Sunday?

I'm trying to organize my weekend to get down there and say hi,see some projects, parts, people and watch some racing but want to try and maximize the opportunity wink.gif

The track part of the show ends at 3PM Saturday when the winners are announced. After that, people break down their area, and we literally pull up stakes, and the area is available once again for anyone to park, camp, pit or whatever. Many people do continue to camp there, and then hit up the race on Sunday, which is just fine. It works out great, because Saturday is all about the finest in Old School...and Sunday can be all about the finest in New School, with a stacked-to-the-rafters Pro class and everything.

Thanks for the reply, Mike! I have clarity!

I just realized.. this is going to be my 1st time at a track/race since '89... and seeing the blacktop on the track .. umm.. weird.

See you all Saturday!
