I wonder if it's still 50 bux for the Holiday Inn.
If you make a reservation on Priceline and have to cancel, what happens? Anyone know?
If you're using the "Name your own price" feature and you have to cancel (presuming you did not take out the trip cancellation insurance, and have a covered reason for canceling), chances are pretty good you're going to get hosed on that money.
But, like most things, there are some exceptions. Last year for the NBL race in Orlando in the spring, I got the flu and could not go at the very last minute. I had not purchased the insurance.
But, my wife worked her magic by talking directly to the GM of the hotel (Celebration Hotel) and asking if we could defer the stay (I knew I was going for the Disney Cup anyway, so that would be perfect).
She was on the line with her for about 30 mins, but ultimately got the GM to defer the stay from April to October, and I was good to go for the first three nights at the Disney Cup.
Hope this helps.
Best,
M
For any VBMX members booking on priceline, I'd really appreciate if you could do so by clicking the link over there-------->
