you ever just look at pictures of nice bikes, and just think, man, I love bikes. lol.
same with trails.
even though right now, my bikes ride like crap (to many old parts), there is two feet of snow on the ground, I dont have money to ride the indoor park, and I feel wierd on my bike when I do get on it (to much time off of it). But in my mind.... ah sweet bliss.

Brakeless is stupid. I liked the paint and gold chain on the cruiser.

Brakeless is awesome. Brakeless cruisers are awesomer. He always has the best looking bikes.
I wish my cruiser wasn't such a heap of hot garbage juice. It looks cool at first glance - black bars and forks; white frame and white grips; green stem, pedals, and brake cable. But the front end is all crooked for reasons I can't figure out. I can't tell if the forks are twisted, or the handlbars are tweaked, or what. It's still rideable, but just a little off, enough to annoy me every time I ride it.

I think my next street bike I'm going to go w/o brakes.

I never rod with brakes when I was little, or now. They alays seemed to make the bike more heavy imo. I guess I had one bike that I did endo's on that had front brakes, but it's easy

The closest I ever got to winning one of my 3 races as a kid BITD was when my brakes broke.

Fortunately you never go fast enough to need 'em.

I rode brakeless street once, it was fun, then almost got hit by a car, and in a LOT of those vids on the come up, those guys huck without regard to people, cars, one vid, they kept running into a new looking car over and over... Poed I would be. some more, had some pretty crazy near misses by cars...
and then one day at the local outdoor park I rode brakeless for a while,,, ended up colliding full speed with another rider sending me sideways into a ledge, which resulted in torn/strained lower back muscles, which still affect me to this day, 4 years later.... hard knot there and all. That was one of the most excruciating injuries ever... I couldnt walk up inclines.... was wierd to know that right lower back muscles affect lifting the left leg forward. I also had a heck of a time taking a crap.... I would sit there, squeeze and scream and cry. serious. It felt like somebody was ripping my kidney out or soemthing.
with certain other collisions I have had with life-altering consequences... I am never riding breakeless again. being able to master a tailtap without brakes will never outweight the sfety of being able to stop adequately. If I really want to do that, just dont pull the lever....
