Does anyone know where I can get those black blocky numbers for an old standard issue ABA numberplate?

Thanks!

The plate is from 1981. I want to find the right numbers for it.

I've not seen anyone selling them, but this is the font if you're gonna make them.

Good eye. But anyone going for it should know that you're going to need to "scrunch" them down a bit, as the font version is a little more condensed than the old school numbers.

But to all but the most astute eye, good stuff!

Now the next question is: Where to find those original numberplates? I have one (not my original), but it's funny, my brothers, my sister, and I all had them, don't remember ever throwing them out, yet can't find any.

I found all my old plates in a box..glad I kept them..

Why can't anything ever be easy?

Okay, does anyone know what kind of material and where to get it to make your own?
Thanks.

Any vinyl sticker paper will work. Here's a random store selling some, there are tons others. http://www.decalfx.com/vinyl_sheets.html

Print out the numbers you need on regular paper, cut them out and tape them to the vinyl, then exacto knife them as Haro initally did. Those numbers in particular are easy to cut out.

Or just take it to any sign shop and have them do it for you.

I'll check at the office, I think we might still have the original die.
