Looking at hotels close to thte track and they are all close to $140 a night less then 5 miles. Has anyone found a deal yet on rooms other then the ones 8 - 15 miles away?

whatever you do ..do NOT stay at at the days inn..i have to find my old paperwork to see the address but it has a resturant attached to it... on a sort of main road( approx 15 mins from the track if i remember correctly) my friend we stayed with booked it thru her "rewards points program" and boy it was horrible. a/c leaking moldy rugs missing tile in bathroom,and it was in a "gang area" there were security walking around telling the riders not to ride around on" such nice bikes" in that area at night.. the pool area wasnt bad and they had really nice beaches a short drive away... but never again...
