It's here folks, the biggest indoor & non-national weekend of the year coming up this weekend at Rad Canyon indoors.
Nevada? Idaho? Wyoming? Colorado? You guys need to think about making the drive, we had 70 motos last year in one of the finest, if not thee finest indoor facility in the nation.
Here is the press release from Steve-O........

Rad Canyon Indoor BMX is ready to kick off another weekend of exciting racing January 22nd through the 24th. The sponsor of the next event in the winter series is Ken Garff Nissan of Riverdale who has been a long time and welcomed supporter of BMX racing in Utah. Along with Ken Garff Nissan of Riverdale involvement, the weekend will also host a fundraiser for the Bryan Oblad Family, a Race for Life fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and a Redline Cup Race event.

The Race for Life event to be held on Saturday is not only a worthwhile cause that supports the research and cure of Leukemia and Lymphoma but is also an opportunity for those who are looking to give BMX racing a try for just a $20 donation. The Redline Cup Race, to be held on Sunday, is a triple point race that allows ABA registered racers to earn points that add to their score at the Redline Cup Finals to be held later in the season and make a run at earning a coveted Redline Cup #1, #2, or #3 plate. In conjunction with the Redline Cup Race, we will hold a Pro-Am race which pit the fastest amateurs in the region against the top local professional racers. It will be an event you don’t want to miss!

This will be the 1st Utah Indoor RLQ weekend that I've missed in two years. It is a blast of a weekend. Great facility, great track, and great competition. What more can you ask for. The only reason I'm missing this year is because I am driving my dad down to his wintering grounds in Palm Desert. I do know at least a couple of SW Idaho families that are going though.
People, it is what they make it out to be. If you can, go to it, because you won't be disappointed.

What are you talking about Bruce, you are the biggest wig we have wink.gif

I have been getting updates on even more product being kicked in for the fundraiser this weekend. It is great to see the BMX community coming together in support of a fallen brother.

I am also pumped about the exciting new track layout this weekend! Should be fun.

Thanks,
Steve

One last bump before the weekend.

The track is starting to be built today because RC is having the cattle guards taken down so the track foot print can be expanded. This basically turns the length of the track the same as an outdoor track. I hear that a Pro section *might* be included since more dirt can be scraped up this weekend. I might go out late this afternoon to take pics.

Hopefully we will see some out of towners here!
