Try contacting Homer Croom at coastal bike supply. He may have what you are looking for.

I ended up doing the same thing I used to do years ago... fabricated one from the plastic top of a spray paint can. happy.gif ... it worked good then and it works good now. I'm sure someone out there knows something better?

Uni now has a product called "Shim Wow!" which is an aluminum adhesive shim and Shim Dandy which are plastic, 3 part shims you can stack over one another. They come in 2 different thicknesses and work pretty well as long as you torque the ELP out of your clamp. ( ELP= Ever Loving Pi$$)

Thanks Lonewolf! I had no idea this existed! perfect! good2.gif

Where do they sell these?
Lonewolf
Mr. Berg sent these pre-production versions to me directly. I would visit the Uni website, get the phone number and Mr. Berg, himself, will answer.

He may make them available to you- if they are not already generally available.

Please tell him you heard about these from the internet, from Richard, who he sent the "Merry Christmas" package to.

I also did an unsolicited weight comparison thread, on his behalf, as a result of his being such a nice guy.

The Uni seat/post combo is a solid unit and was scads lighter than the most expensive, lightest conventional set up.

I'm trying to solve this same problem.
Was anyone successful in installing a Uni seat on an older Redline?
