$49 a night Courtyard Mariott in Quail Springs (***), tried similar pricing and got nothing in Edmond.

Interesting observation on Priceline. Seems that the price tolerance goes up as the days to your stay are closer and closer. Today, got DENIED for a $51 bid in Edmond, OK.

This was also the case for XMAS Classic, when some people got a $38 bid accepted for Crowne Plaza a month or two in advance, and we needed to bid $75 for the Courtyard two weeks before.

Gonna try again, but just an FYI to the rest of you.
