If I don't find/make somewhere to ride this winter, I'll go batty. I'm about 3/4 finished with my basement ramps; built a wallride against the staircase with a small quarter on the opposite wall. Working on two smaller wedges that can fit on top of the quarter as an extension or propped up against the wall for another wallride. Planning a larger flat bank/wedge and a couple other odds and ends. Maybe I'll corner it off into one big bowl. Or maybe (just thought of this today), move it into the attic, where I'll have plenty of headroom and can build a proper mini.
Any homebrew spots you guys have made? Give me some more ideas.

Man, I give you mad props on your basement ramp ideas. I lived in North Dakota for a year and a half and rode basically 2 pallets and 2 sheets of plywood. Check this out.

I got everything pretty much finished up. I've got the 25" transitioned wallride built up against the frame of my stairwell, and about 10 feet across from that, another 27" quarter that goes up flush against the concrete wall. It originally had a little deck but I cut it down. It's really tight and hard to ride (which I was kind of going for - I wanted something more like tight street tranny). It's loud and not as fun as I was hoping; I'm still kind of figuring it out. I think I'm going to move the two transitions to the same side, and have a wedge to the opposite wall instead. I've got a few leftover pieces of wood that I might use to make a manual pad or a jersey barrier too. More to follow.
(If you're wondering, I've already hit my head on the ceiling; more accurately, the water pipe going to the kitchen. Doyee.)

BUB, you need to post some pics of this set up, please!
Yeah, yeah, I'm working on it. I started a jersey barrier thing that I just need to put ply on and am contemplating a roll in if I can make room. I'll get riding pics up once I get a chance.

BTW how tall are your basement ceilings?
7'6", though there's some duct work that hangs lower; otherwise, I would have been able to arrange things a little differently. Anyway, more to follow.
