BITD those were my grips of choice for many reasons... they lasted a long time, they were comforatabble, the LBS at the tracks always had em on hand, and because as a kid, they were cheap and I could afford them! I just put a pair on my latest redline build... with donuts of course.

I almost forgot... the old ODI mushroom grips were awsome... still have a pair in blue, very similar to todays longnecks, but shorter. If you boil a new pair of longnecks for about ten or fifteen minutes, they soften up quite a bit and end up feeling like the old mushrooms. ODI soup.
