Ok so This was my dads bike. Back in Austin him and a group of a guys around 1979 all got these bikes and cruised arround from bar to bar watching shows and getting hammered. he rode this bike and loved untill he was no longer able to ride.

This year i took it to LA on a couple rides and every one i went on old school BMX guys would always come up and go on and on for hours about the bike and its history. Everything is original accept the Seat (he switched to something comfortable with age) and tires obviously. I love the bike but times are tough and am interested to know some information on the bike. if price is right who knows. Im in Las Vegas if anyone was wanting to look.

Doesn't the fork in the vintage pic say "Mongoose"? It's not a mountain bike. It's a BMX bike. What's the serial number on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell?

26" BMX or singlespeed mtb, it's cool either way. Even cooler you still have it!

Looks like a Kos Cruiser. Nice!
