CMC... is that you? Thanks for making a post about Liquid. I can't wait to see your bike built up!
Yes, the frame has 14 mm dropouts. And that is also correct on the micro gearing... because of the short chain stays and fat tire clearance (clears a 2.3) we had to make sacrifices in terms of max chainwheel size. 30 tooth is max on the frame.
The Liquid Feedback frame is our attempt at the perfect 24" bmx frame for "freestyle" riding and was developed directly from rider feedback on Ridemonkey. We felt RM was a great place to design such a frame because there is a good mix of knowledgeable riders on all types of bikes in the DJ forum: 20" bmx, 24" bmx, 24" mtbmx, 26" mtbmx... and even 22s. So, we listened. And we found out riders wanted short chain stays, a steeper head angle, a top tube length long enough for big riders, and a bottom bracket that is higher than a normal cruiser, but not so high to make it awkward and unstable. The Liquid Feedback frame is designed for use on everything that you would use your normal 20"... but its home is on the trails!!!
Here are the complete specs on the frame and bars. The frame is actually available in two top tube sizes: 22 or 22.25.
