Can someone tell me if the threads on a italian threaded euro bb lh cup is the same as the rh cup. As in the cups thread in the same direction or are they opposite. I have a bunch of old Bullseye threaded cups that were used for road racing cranks, but they all seem to be threaded the same. Thanks in advance for any info you may provide.

They are identical to my nos red anno cups used for the Bullseye euro rollerbracket, except for the thread diameter.

yeah, italian cups are the same thread on both sides. both right-hand. bigger in diameter than english cups, too.

ITL cups are 36mm x 24tpi
ENG cups are 1.37" (34.75mm) x 24tpi

The great thing about Italian cups is, if you strip the threads out in an english BB, Bicycle research makes a reamer, to ream what's left of the threads out to the bore you'll need to re-thread it Italian. The spindle is another story though. Italian is 70mm wide, and English is 68mm
