Hey, first of all, thanks for all of the suggestions & direction. My response here is gonna be quite lengthy, but for sure it will informative for all of you. I have skowered a few forum threads & below are some questions & a bunch of feedback for you guys:
1. Should we put a Euro BB on the Big Ripper? And what about the BB on the OM Flyer? Change to Euro?
2. Should we change the OM Flyer frame from the current alloy version to Cr-Mo?
3. I doubt we will offer the 26” OM or the 26” Quad Loop as framesets as I do not think that there is enough demand. What do ya think?
4. Should we keep the big cushion style seats on the OM Flyers & Big Ripper? Or change to something smaller?

And now for my comments on your guys’ feedback:
-Please feel free to give feedback on all bikes in the SE line.
-The 2010 24” 26” & 29” retro bikes have bars that are modeled after original SE Power Wing Cruiser bars (28” x 7”) And the 2010 20” retro bikes have bars modeled after the normal original Power Wing bar (28.5”x 8.25”). These will be available in late winter in our aftermarket program separately.
-The handlebar pads on the production bikes are over an inch wider than they were on the ’09 bikes.
-The market is not really there if we put super high-end parts (like Bullseye hubs, Profile cranks, Paul brakes, etc.) on bikes.
-We have close-up pics of most all bikes on the SE website. Some of your guys’ requests have already been addressed on the 2010 bikes.
-Most all of the 2010 SE line will be available in January.
-I can’t add another retro bike into the line for 2011. So the retro Floval will have to wait another year at least.
-The 26” Quad Loop will stay in the line & most likely not be a DC bike & will have a more traditional color. But I will tell ya. I have been riding the 2010 yellow DC 26” Quad & everyone loves it.
-Retro # plates will come with most all of the 2010 retro bikes. And we will continue to place them with the 2011 bikes.
-Most of our new P&A parts will be available in March or so.
-New SE jerseys are getting designed soon.
-We are not going to get into the sidehack business. And Hyper already has them coming into Wal-Marts around the country.
-We’re gonna keep our retro bikes “retro.” Meaning with new-school threadless headsets & V-brakes. Not completely old-school with 1” head tubes & caliper brakes.
-We may be able to do colorways that are the same as some of the old-school legends that rode for SE. But making them as official signature models is another story as some of the guys have direct ties to other bike companies now. But I will look into it.
-We have no plans on making unstamped Landing Gear forks.
-The 26” PK Loop (the 2010 Hundreds bike) is not in the plans for 2011.
-All of the 2010 race frames have been modified & are all about 25% lighter than the ’09 frames.
-We do sell our P&A direct from our website on this link:
http://shop.advancedsports.com/SE_P_A_s/29.htm -A lot of new product will be listed in few months.
-A 16” Quad Loop is on the table for one of these years. But probably not for 2011.
-The 29” Quad Loop is still on the “one of these years” list as well. We did have 3 that were made last year. Two of them are in my garage. ;-)
-We had plans for the 24” Quad Loop to be chrome last year. But with all of the intricate welds, it was not easy to get a good chrome job. So we had to scrap the idea of chrome for any of the Quad Loops.
-We won’t be making any race pants as we’re a bike company. Not in the race pant business.
-The 20” Quad Team frame was not a great seller for us. That’s why we discontinued it.
-All of the 2010 Landing Gear forks (on stock bikes & aftermarket) are lighter than before.
-The pink-ish red ano was a problem on some parts that we have had. But we are on it & it won’t happen again.
-For 2011, we are only doing one color option for each retro bike.
-There is not enough of a demand for a Jr cruiser. So we won’t be making on this coming year.
****That’s it for now. Let’s keep it rollin’!
