I know the Team Rippers lost about a pound or so, going with a simpler design. I do not like the new version as it looks too basic and or thrown together at the joint at the top of the seat tube. The sales may not be there, I don't know, but the PK Ripper should be treated as the flagship.

If you are looking for a really good solution that will sell bikes, drop the back of the top tube down the seat tube (slam the frame) and look back to the early '90s PKs and do something like that. When I look at these new PKs, I am left feeling empty.

+1

that's what i've been saying for years. the mid to late 90s version was perfect and should have never been changed one bit. i really, really regret not getting a pk when they were on sale in like '99.

I was lucky enough to see some pictures at Rockford of the new OM and the new retro PK, you're going to LOVE them! If I could pre-order, I would!

....or color scheme of the 24" quad? for some reason i'm liking the flat colors. army green, flat - sounds cool for the 24" quad.

i like the fact that the seat stays are now welded to the seat tube. Todd posted a sneak peak pic of that somewhere.

I'll be honest guys, I was so zoned in on the OM and the looptail PK, that I don't remember much about the quads. I THINK there was not a 26" or 20" quad. I believe there was a 24". Hopefully Todd will release the hounds with some pictures soon.

It sounds like a little thing, but wait until you see the grips on the looptail 20" PK.................
