TV show "This is it" story about a BMX freestyle show at the Plymouth Meeting Mall in Pennsylvania promoting the movie RAD. Riders include Brian Blyther, Rich Sigur, and Rob Peterson and the actor Bill Allen (Cru Jones from the movie). You can also get a glimpse of Gary Pollak and the many of the other King of Prussia Rouges in the crowd.

Nice vintage stuff!! The "Movie Voice Guy" narration and Wham soundtrack is pretty funny.

Does anyone know if there's any truth to the rumor that they're making a Rad 2? On another note, I love Cru and all, but what's the deal with that potato sack he's wearing when he's hanging out with aunt becky down by the river? I wore some stupid riding gear back in the 80's but nothing that bad.

I haven't heard about a RAD 2? That would be cool if it is true though! But Eddie did mention how he is trying to get RAD finally released on official dvd in HD. Not sure how that is progressing though?

If they made a "Rad 2," Hell Track would have to involve that massive downhill track at Woodward -- the one they used in the X-Games a few years back. The Olympic track was sweet, but for gnarly riding, that X-Games track has it beat.

Oh, and opening credits would have to include Dave Mirra working his magic in his warehouse:

And Simon O'Brien and our own Axlepeg doing flatland!

The opening credit song would remain "Break the Ice."

Here's the petition. I feel that as a member of this website, it's your duty to sign this if you haven't already. You may also want to consider forging a few signatures as well.

Thanks for the link. For some reason though it wouldn't come up when I clicked on it? I'm guessing that the scene u mentioned in the movie was probably something that didn't make it to the final cut? I have a copy of the movie and still watch it religiously with my son and have never noticed that scene. Would be funny to see though! As for the petition. Yea, it's been going around for quite awhile now. At least several years? It still baffles me how a movie like Thrashin or BMX Bandits has been on dvd for years. But RAD has yet to make it. Crazy!?
