I support the NBL or any league other than the ABA any day. Somebody should start a new league and give ABA some stress!

The ABA is in business to make money, period. If they were not making a huge profit, they would not be in business.

Troll. Do you understand non-profit? Do you think the powers that be in the NBL don't make a salary? Do yourself a favor. Do a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request on the NBL and see where the money is going. NBL national entry fees are higher than the ABA. Yet the ABA puts on highly professional run nationals and the NBL uses "volunteers". So I ask - where's the money going?

Of course it's a business. That means they have a vested interested to serve their members to ensure their profitability and survivability. Makes sense to me.

Sorry for the rant. I'm considering going to the grands!

So I"m sure you go to work everyday only to just to break even? You don't want to make extra to put towards a saving account, or go on vacation? We ALL work (or are in business) to make money.

The ABA has never ever said they weren't anything except a business. Just because they cater to children doesn't make them evil when they want to make money.

The ABA is a business plain and simple. Their prime motivation is money. If they were not making a huge profit, they would not be in business.

We need a new league!

mxmug
Yeah, we need a league thats broke as a joke. Maybe obama will subsidize it. That way they can loose money and still keep their doors open.

still mad at them for a pre-sign descrepancy???

get over it

No one is stopping you, go ahead and start your own. The SSA is as close as we have to a third power sanction in the US. You could crank one up. I am sure you could find plenty of people fed up with the ABA and NBL and be prime for a new change.

Good Luck Ray
