Full Version: Indiana NBL/ABA new track

I am currently gathering info for the potential start up of a track in east central Indiana.

Unsure of which paticular sanction to consider, so I figured that if a mix is possible or feasible this may be best choice.

I am sure this has been done before or at least considered so just looking for input.

A question I have is, Can a track run dual sanctions (NBL/ABA) if track was built or funded by other resourses? Maybe run NBL on Saturday and ABA on Sunday or alternate weeks???

Currently there are not any Central Indiana ABA tracks and I think that the riders could benefit from such a location.

On the NBL side we have Lakesullivan that should be back up and running in the spring.

I do have several possible locations and willing volunteers that share the idea and would really like to try and bring the local racing scene back to where it was in the 80's.

If any one has some info that wold be great. I really do not want to contact either sanction as of yet because I think it could turn into a " used car sales pitch ". also no answer at the NBL 1 800 number.

Going to Indy Indoor practice tonight if anybody wants to discuss.

Thanks
