Sorry but I'm from 79, and the Hutchinson/Whichita area and saw Doug Prathers name I remember making the trip up to KC and seeing that guy go so fast he couldn't make the corners. I used to ride with Lonny Moore, Brian and Doug Stone, Brian Pascal,Kent Deeds and cousin Darrell Pulliam

Just realized I had already signed up on this site. Been spending more time at the other site and kinda forgot about this one. Glad to see this thread is still alive. I guess it's safe to delete kwhite89 as I don't remember that login info. laugh.gif

What's up Kris? Jack Boyd here. My boys got into bmx last year and at the grands I picked up a cruiser now I've been back at it since may. Had a reunion at George Stewarts a few weeks back. Great to see the old guys. What other site are you on?

Im not 70s old school but raced from 88 to 99 at Blue Springs and Lees Summit. Road for S&L in the early ninties. Helped get the Raytown track started and was going to run it then work brought me out to Arizona and have run a track in Tucson since 2000. Also started a frame and component company called D3. Had a lot of fun racing at Blue Springs with Cook, Lucas, Burasco, Rogers, McCoy and many more guys. Had fun at the old stark trails to.

My name is Steve Fair, I'm from Mission, raced at Tomahawk Ridge BMX at 119th and Metcalf and the American Royal from 1982-1985 when I went full-on freestyle. My dad videotaped all the races for the local cable channel while my mom kept score. I raced the VBMX support team colors from 2005-2008 in Topeka and Blue Springs. I remember Ed Bondurant working with my dad to get the races on TV. Good times.

There's some names I recall. blue springs was my regular spot during the 90's. Moved out to WA in 96. I raced mostly cruiser with some 20" during the gold cup when we had them there.

Jim Reilly gave me the nickname "pizzaman", Rob McFall.....
