Title says all there is to know. I have a distaste for thieves but bike thieves are the lowest form of life if you ask me. It makes me feel like someone just kicked my dog.
I guess if none of the local pawn shops in town have it, it'll be gone forever.
Sorry for the thread. I just needed to vent.

That sucks!
Don't forget to keep an eye on Craigslist for your area as well.

Post up a few pics over at our site!
BTW, there was a nice ELF cruiser out at the indoors over the last weekend, a gal in the older cruiser class was racing it. Yes, I gave it the once over.
Call me if you want to talk, 801-879-8572.

Have you got any pics of the bike along with a parts list and a serial number so people know what to look out for?

The cruiser was somewhat of a "daily beater".
Being that it was my beater, I never got around to any any pics of it. Plus, the only parts on it that hold any value were the frame and forks.
All I remember of the serial number was the the month/year dates and even then, they are a bit fuzzy. 09/92, 09/95, 09/96. They all sound familiar but none of them have a clear cut lead on the others. Bummer for me.
The only real defining quirks the bike had were V-brakes mated to a Canti-brake lever. Let's just say that the braking left something to be desired.
The story is a lame one. My brother borrowed it. Without asking (and yes, he is going to get his in due time). Took it to his POS buddies house. He never brought it home. I hounded him for a couple of days to go get it (yeah, I know. I shoulda just gone and picked it up myself). POS buddy of his either A.) pawned it B.) sold it for a fix and probably the most likely answer C.) let someone else take it D.) ?????????
In any case, thanks for the simpathies fellas.
