Anyone know if a tuff wheel with 1.75" tire will fit on a Ripper X without the tire rubbing on the frame?

I'm asking because I am thinking about putting together a retro type ride for my almost 8 year old daughter as she is always "borrowing" her little brothers 'lil ripper.

Hi azaussie
I saw that you sent me an email about this too.....
The correct size wheels for the Ripper X is a 20 x 1-3/8" size wheel. Skyway Tuff Wheels are a 20 x 1.75 size. The actual tire bead diameter for both wheels is different which means that you'll have an issue with brake shoe alignment, unless your using Pauls brakes. In addition to that issue, I'm pretty sure that the tire on the Tuff Wheels would rub the frame as well.
So, to answer your question- I don't think it will work...
