I was looking at the retro lightening bolt seats on SE's site and was wondering if the lightening bolt is a decal or is it engraved?

I got the blue with grey bolt. its not a decal. wish i would have got the white with blue bolt tho. Very nice seat!!!

Anyway to get that seat or a similar seat without the lightning bolt

The early ones didn't have the bolt screened on, but there was a smooth part of the seat where it should be.

I would think a little rubbing alcohol or goo gone will remove the screened bolt.

I used nail polish remover. Good-bye lightening bolt.
