I am having a heck of a time finding a 1" internal headset for my daughter's Kuwahara Laserlite.
Almost everyone makes a 1" integrated but the internal is hard to find.
Any suggestions for me or anyone with one that you can part with?

Dans comp should have some standard 1" head sets or try your lbs they may have one or two lying around.

If that is in fact what it is (1" internal) it may be proprietary. I work in a bike shop and have never seen or heard of it. My guess is that it`s just a standard 1" press in headset, which nearly every brand makes. But hey, if it really is 1" internal I`ll have to add that to the list of things that make me go Hmm...

Yep. Sure enough the specs on the bike say 1" internal. It also says they are Cane Creek. Have you checked out Cane Creek for them?

It is def an internal. Even got that from Ryan Birk who used to be the man for Kuwahara.
I looked at Cane Creek's site and did not see but I may have overlooked it.
Actually there are a few different aluminum mini and junior frames out that
require the 1" internal.

scratch that, it was a integrated not an internal.

We put the FSA Orbit 1" internal on my son's Avent Micro Mini and I could only get it through Avent, who got it from someone who had a few left. It's a very nice set up.
