Just wanting to share completely BS stories from BITD. One that I heard often was of a Race Inc that was so light it floated! Supposedly had been floated across Wapato Lake. Parts included Z Rims and Race Inc bars. I'm sure it was light, but float? C'mon!

What tall tales do you have to share?

Ah, kinda like BMX Mythbusters?

Red Line square backs were guaranteed for life. If you broke one they would give you another one for free

but I have never seen anyone break one even with moto mags

how about the one where you can straighten a bent Z-Rim or Skyway mag in the freezer... I know some of us here have tried it, did it work?

I once told everyone in my class that Davy Jones was gonna sing at our school dance.

Thank God I was able to track him down at the local studio and have him see me crying to his manager.

He took me and we held hands.

Nobody suspected a thing

How about all the folks that tell you about a bike they had as a kid that weighed 6 pounds.

I love the one where a rider from a track tells you his locals BITD had 200 motos.

State races had 500 motos.

And yes the famous I had a nickle mongoose with motomag and it weighed like 2 lbs is classic.

Old novice guys saying how they used to bang bars with Stu,Harry Leary,Greg Hill
