So I've finally bit the bullet and decided that I'm going to order a custom 125R frame from Standard. I really want a bike with a 22" top tube and love the way my brother's 125R rides.
The problem I'm running into is deciding on a powder color for the frame. My choice in colors for my current bike (see pics) is making it difficult. I'm going to get a 125R with a 22" top tube and engraved head tube. My gut is telling me to go with black/white stickers, but since it's custom I kind of want to shy away from a color that's already mass produced. Just looking for suggestions so fire away.

I like the cream stickers too, but with all the white components I have it makes it hard to see them working.

Chrome it, or white.

Chrome it, or white.
White was another option... I wonder how white would look with cream or silver stickers.

get with Nick at Standard some of the powder options are out of this world cool. I know
me personally I think white is played out. It seems everybody went white this year. Don't get me wrong theres alot of nice looking white bikes but something different is always a good choice. Gives everyone something to talk about. I heard several people say this weekend "I thought your bike was green but it looks black now" or "Wow just what color is your bike".

got to say thanks to kris for some awesome shots this weekend

Indy, one of the powder colors that was recommended to me by nick was the black/green of your frame. I'm just worried about putting a color up against the black and white parts that I have already. Another option was a light blue with white stickers.

I'll get in touch.... I was also considering a clear black powder over the raw metal. Although Gold does sound sick.

after looking through the powder colors for a few hours last night I've decided that I'm either going to go with black/gold which is a black base powder with dark gold metallic powder in it. Or... a black powder with white metallic.

sounds like a good choice. Black is always cool but even cooler with a metallic base. You know pics will be a must.

Yeah, I'll post tons of pics in about two months when the frame is done. I'm thinking of sending my race XLT forks in to get powdered to match.

Well due to my certain situation the frame is staying as is for now. It looks like purchasing a new frame is gonna have to wait.
