I want to put Shimano DXR brakes on my Floval but want them in black. Are they powdercoated or anodized? I've never seen any at my lbs.
Thanks
Chris

Simple answer, yes.

A company in my area charges a flat rate of $45 to do any color they normally do.
And for the $45 you can get a lot of stuff done at once.

Here's the issue, every type of metal (aluminum) will hold color differently depending on what type it is. So if you're going to get stuff done, do it all at once or else it might be hard to match colors in the future.

It can surely be done though, because I was going to do DXR crank arms, DXR lever/brake arms.

any steel bits need to be removed. the process will destroy steel.
