I need any info I can get on how to remove the orig. decals so they can be sent out to be scanned and re-popped. I thought about using a hairdryer on high and slowly peelling them off the frame. Any tips from experience would be very helpful.

Sounds like your on the right track, but I'd be surprised if it worked. Old stickers get really brittle.

Let us know how it works out.

luckily, this is a early 90's bike, with pretty good stickers (no cracks). Unfortunatley the previous owner spraybombed the bike and got the edges of the decals. So I figure a whole new paint job and decals, and she'll be as good as new. I'll let everyone know how I make out. biggrin.gif

I sketched out the decals on a piece of tracing paper and jotted down all the dimensions before I tried to remove the old decals. Also took a lot of pictures. Glad I did cause there was no way I was getting them off in one piece. Tried a heat gun and finally rags soaked in vinegar. They guy that did my decals was able to work off the tracing and the detailed pics I sent. Not sure how detailed your decals are but you might want to trace them first.

I have a Hutch Trick Star 2 and want to get the Candy Paint Redone. Do anyone know where I could get another set of stickers or where I could get reproduction stickers made?
