thats the ankle shredder part of the original Thruster kinky s&m line, they had a sprocket designed by the Marqui de sade it purposely caught your pants and tossed you to the ground.

Why on Earth would you want something like that? I never got those clamps with over one hex bolt. What is the reasoning?

It looks totally stupid to me and if it's real, there is a good reason it got picked of by "BMX natural selection".

The chipping on the outer edge was undoubtedly made by ankle flesh.

Not to mention that the bike on the photo is a Phaze 1..

I dont think it is, this came on a cw phaze one the guy who owned it wasa rider back in the 80,s he built the cw up with parts he had collected from his riding days ie mongoose gold stem,skyway graphte pedals and this clamp

I have to go with kcmobmx on this one. I remember when the whole pedal thing was going on, this clamp also came out of the woodwork, probable the same wood the pedal box was made from.

Man if you could find the original wood box this came in.........

still want it, especially if its cheap, put em on my kids play bikes.....hehehehe
