Hello to all,
I recently picked up this old unknown BMX frame local & cheap. Can anybody tell me what kind of bike this is? The serial number starts with CZ , If that helps. When I got the frame it had this redline sticker on the head tube, but after looking up redline's There is no reference to this particular looking frame. If anybody has any in site on this frame that would be great & thanks.

I don't know what it is, but if Spiderman had a factory ride, that would be his frame.

Here's a picture of the v.i.n. Maybe that will help determine the make of bike and the year.

Based on the weld in this picture.....I would say it's something Low Dollar. To me, the weld looks to be a M.I.G. weld and not a T.I.G. weld.

Good eye there Jeff. Good eye. I was lookin' at the same thing. Looks almost like a robotic mig weld. Or someone who forgot their welding helmet that day.

its cool but yeah looks cheap, but that dont mean it isnt.....neat-o, build it!
Reilley1
Import, more than likely Taiwan as it has the over size seat tube

Thanks for the comments, I was wondering if it was worth it to build or not ?
I was also unsure of the parts to put on it.
Lonewolf
I say yeah. Find out what it is and then build it.

as far as parts, first detail it up polish it as best as you can then load it up with tons of annodized parts, whatever your favorite color, best part is you can go cheap and still og, as the legit old school parts are easy to get and usually just a click away and you will have a sweet...bright shiny bike....if thats what your into....
sirrob
It's a looptail, build it up and post pics.

The thing is that I've seen this frame before, but I just can't put a name to it.

I'm surprised Rick didn't immediately know.

I was thumbing through some 81' / 82' mags this past weekend...............is it possibly a Bridgestone?

Not a Bridgestone. They had the the "sandwich" style headtube gusset, not the single one like this frame. Brake bridges are different as well, Bridgestone had an arched tubular style.

Hi guys
Thanks for the replys.
So after reading the responses , I am assuming no body knows actually who makes this frame.
Well I hope some day I figure it out.
Started polishing the frame up & picked up a old side pull odyssey rear brake to polish up also.
