I love this bike. Every time I see a CW, it instantly takes me back to 1986.

I am in the process of rebuilding one of my old race bikes and I just couldn't resist the urge to replace the stock SR looseballs with some bada$$ sealed crupi hubs laced to pro class rims. I always wanted some sweet hubs, so I justify it that way lol

People don't post bikes around here much anymore. Thanks for sharing!!

edit: oops..i misunderstood you. I didn't realize this is the bike you actually raced back then. Thats even better!

That is really cool. Straight-up '82-'83 time period. I like the 7B's they were a little bit lighter than 7C's, 7X's, or Ukai's at this time period and were a great choice for a younger rider that might just be coming off 1 3/8". Pads and national plate too?! Ready to race the '83 season!

You know old race bikes are not complete without pads and plate.

Awesome.

that is straight up perfection.

I think that's a great build right there, Bro.

Very cool! Why'd you replace most of the wheels? Were the old ones too thrashed or did you just want something different?

There is something about a CW that I just love. Maybe because you don't see them too often.... I dig this one!!
bmxmom
