If you guys remember that Western Flyer Wildcat I talked about earlier, well, I and several others, even Murray experts are stumped (was this even built by Murray?). But tonight, I decided to finally look at the crankshaft, and what a surprise! It it a one-peice CW crank. It reads "CW140" on the crank. Could this be a good thing? Anyone know about CW cranks? A lot of people here seem to be talking about CW stuff, along with some Ashtabula. Could there be a way of determining the year with this or the approximate year? I know somebody here has to be able to shine some light on this. Please help if you can.

that's just a production code and not related to "CW" bicycles.

Do you know what this means? That production code could be a lot of help.

not really. it may just be the manufacturer's part number.
