we have made up taco fixing and brisket and then take the crock pot and heat up while you are at the races... There are usualy 6 or more of us that eat this way.. Get your travel buddies together and make a menu and have crock pots going in each room and you have dinner for like 15 buxs a family instead of 50 or so...

When traveling it always seems available snacks are such junk and expensive, so we always bring or purchase locally from a supermarket what the boys will eat through out the day.
Gogurt
Bananas
Cheese and crackers
Chocolate milk
I just focus on easy to digest carbs and protein without a lot of fat. You can fit a days supply in a softside cooler, with free ice from the hotel.

Good snacks seem to keep the mood and energy levels much more consistent than junk from a food vendor or fast food place.

I'm thinking that, maybe, the Bear Grylls "BMX Travel Clinic" is the best course of action.

*Proper methods to trap lizards and small mammals out behind the reserve dirt pile

*Grilling your catch on the starting gate grate

*Friday Night negotiating tactics for trading with "native peoples" (translation: talking locals into allowing you and your whole team to shower at their house at 5AM Saturday, in exchange for your multi-age Saturday practice stickers)

*Tips on making potable water from concession stand Monster and Powerade

*Identifying whether or not discarded nachos and walking tacos are safe to serve your novice and intermediate riders.

*Techniques for checking into a room on Sunday after mains, showering, then saying you had an emergency within 12 minutes--and getting a full refund.

*Using saver stamps to board a commercial aircraft (emergency only)

*Team van survival skills.
-Learn not to get farted on
-Call "SHOTGUN" only when the cool driver is at the wheel
-How to use a helmet bag as a porta-john (and not get caught for at least a week)
