Don't think anyone will be knocking on my door to star in or help the shoot and edit their next video, however, I'm reasonably happy considering it was all take with a Canon point and shoot camera that for most of the time I just sat on the ground and pressed record. Enjoy.

Yes Stu, the second part was a beautiful Wednesday in Sydney and can't remember with the first bit. The funny part is watching Bruce's kids go off to school and the two of us go out for coffee and riding.

Great video James, do you still have an old school freestyle that you throw around? That would be a cool video too!

Thanks guys. Reece, no I don't have an old school rider these days as I sold the 87 Haro Sport I used to ride. Spent long enough getting comfortable on the news school bike and my skills don't stretch to being able to ride both. Fact is I have enough trouble doing what I do and love the zero maintenance of a new school ride.

I have a few old school bikes that are special to me and I ride them. I have taken a couple to the land and jumped them. There is no way I could have ridden most of the stuff I have in the past 6ish years if it weren't for better bikes. Bikes now are so, so much better than they were even 6 years ago let alone 20 years ago. Sorry, Quicksilver I know what your saying about doing old school and I think concept is a neat too. That 2 freash guy from like Sweden? He rides old bikes still and kills it on them (flatland though).
Javi, in my opinion you got it and I ranted while a Miller is in my hand.

Forgot to add that I was also too afraid to try much on the old school ones just in case I damaged the grips, seat or other easily scraped parts. With this one I can just throw it around (within reason) and know that the parts are easily replaceable. Plus at 6'3" the inch and a half extra top tube length helps. Old school is good for cruising still.
I guess it's an age old argument like clips v flats, brake v brakeless etc.

Yeah I'm just about 2.5 years into the over 40 club. Only feel like it after a big day of riding.

dude, are we gonna be talking like this when we hit the over 50 club?
My poor wife. I think one day she thinks I won't be a big teen boy anymore.
How do guys become "mature"? Is that just a fairy tale?
Least my mom-in-law thinks so. ha.

I always quote Billy Connolly in conversations like this. To paraphrase, "we can grow old, however, we don't have to grow up."
