Going to the Disney Cup and staying a few days before/after the race to hit the parks, or veg by the pool? Try checking out some of the Disney Vacation Club online forums for people "renting" their points.

One of these is www.disboards.com. Their "Disney Vacation Club" section is top notch. Two years ago, we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas for 10 nights for $167/nt. Seem like a lot? The regular rate starts at 335, plus tax, so about $370/nt.

We had a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and pullout for the kids. Our suite was ground level and opened directly onto the courtyard by the pool.

By renting points, you save $35/nt in taxes, plus valet parking fees and can often get a deal from someone who has points and needs to to rent em or lost em.
