Subjective question, the only fair question is do you want to buy it for $130 or not?

My best guess is that is probably what the shop has in it and just wants to get rid of it. Those were nice frames but pretty much way out of date about now. Big, beefy and heavy. Built during the bmx tank phase.

Ok thanks yes you say heavy I think I will pass and look for something diffrent to build.

Yeah I wouldnt walk away from the Schwinn just yet. Are you truely a "Schwinn" guy, or is that just a moniker you came up with to log in real quick? If you really love the brand I can almost assure you that it will be a very, very long time before you find another Power Flow brand new, assuming that one is new.

That was a very nice frame at the time, it still is actually. I personally prefer all the tanks of that era, FBM AOD, S&M War Pig + Sabbath etc. It was a time of black is black, being rude, crude and obnoxious. Having a bike that would survive WWIII and so on. Then came people wearing girls jeans, flourescent colored shoes and everyone becoming a weight weanie with their bike. Oh I can shave 2.7 ozs off the total by getting those ti bolts and washers. My own personal opinion, spare me. I still ride an FBM AOD, lets see if some of this stuff out is still kickin in strong in 12 years is my philosophy. And I can beat the living tar out of a bike, cause I'm smooth and all and have no worries. laugh.gif

Had I come across that frame, I would be asking the guy if he would take $60-75 cash. Worst he can say is no. He may say hey to be truthful, I paid $130 for that bike so many years ago and thats what I really need to get out of it. If thats the case say thanks a lot, let me sleep on it a couple weeks and I'll get back with ya. Then do just that.
