Nyquist got his butt spanked by T.J. Ellis, in the dirt contest. Hands down, there is no discussion, yet Dew tour officials seem like they needed time to do the math that would allow him to take the contest. Total B.S.

I'm not going to even watch it again.

Ellis is the new Dirt king.

We won't go into why Nyquist won when he didn't deserve to.

I'll leave that to your speculation.

Nyquist even apologized to Ellis, conceding that Ellis really won.

I was there and myself and every other fan agreed that Ellis dominated and should have one it.
When Nyquist was announced as the winner the whole crowd booed the decision, however Nyquist is definately a stand up guy as he had nothing but good comments to say about Ellis and said he would have been happy with second.

You are correct. I saw it on TV and let me tell you something, this Ellis dude was like a fighter pilot. He won by so much, it looked like Nyquist was just trying to get through his last run without hurting himself. All he did was spin and whip tricks.

He did not pull a front flip/ tailwhip, nor did he even do a front flip. Ellis did both and when he did he won.

I was pissed.

Ellis= dirt king

Does anyone check into who judges on the Dew Tour?
Lonewolf
Bump. But nobody cares.

Funny, my wife and I were saying the exact same thing as we watched the dirt comp. Ellis was way more out there than Nyquist. Also what was with the woman interviewing Nyquist bringing up his moms death before he still had to make another run? Choked the poor guy up and probably got into his competition head a bit too. Didn't like seeing that. But I agree TJ Ellis should have won!!
