I was going to post a link on C-List to my stuff I'm selling and noticed C-List has gotten a bit crazy. Apparently a few "BMX flippers" are coming under attack (phone numbers and addresses being listed at 2am) for their unsavery behavior.

The C-list "bike" for sale section has turned into the worst place to buy a bike or sell a bike. Is this happening in your part of the world too?

Craigslist is terrible. It is unfortunate that some people can't just accept a "score". They have to turn a rediculous profit and act like total jerks in the process.

I have stopped searching the list as I have a local FS board that puts the list to shame. It gets dozens more bikes posted daily. Rarely are the posts uses in the way that makes Craigslist so bad.

I made the mistake of posting my number in my CL bike ad and I kept having this same kid call in the middle of the night, I had to call the operator to have a reverse trace put on the number so I could get it to stop.

Even though someone dials *67 the operator can still find out who is calling as long as you have the exact time and you need to dial the number they give you so their computers can trace the call.

I don't put a number in the ads anymore unless it is my cell which I turn off at night anyway.

Had a Redline MxIII .Complete bike with the Origianl snap on pads and every thing on there ...I posted in so many aera's at the time .....

Had people emiling me way far out on this bike ....

Had a Stupid Fk sent me a check threw the mail ..$3500 on this bike ....

All i only wanted is $1200 for it ....As usely he sent the check ,and ask me to DEduct some money out of the check for me and send the rest of the MOney back to him ...I said i would ,,,,See this ....Told the JackAZZ UP front ..This check is Bad ,You will not see a dam dime of this money what so ever ....LOL Guess what .It was a Fake check that he sent to me ...Later on down the road ,I put another bike on Craiglist .In so many citys ..Had people to email me ...about it ....LOL same thing ,Happine agin ...I just cracked up Laughing ,I had check that was sent to me $1500 , 3500 , 4500 , .All of them was Fake as shitt ! People want never learn .....But learn the Hard way arond..Till they get Taken on the poop poop poop, I say again, poop ....And got tooked real bad .....Lots of people on Ebay is the same FK way on there .....

I see some idiot from tennesee constantly posting redlines and stuff all over craigslist in every state probably in every country. They have to be some kind of scam artist collecting emails or something. I emailed them and got a bunch of senseless babbling about nothing in reply. Then i sell on craigslist and the same idiot keeps sendo=ing me emails akiing if i want to buy his redline stuff, asking if i have a schwinn frame. They keep saying im not fing spam or am i? Heck i dont know, why are they asking me of they are spam or not? Ill never send a check for anything, i wont take a check even if its free. When i know i have scammers replying, i give them the name annie coppa atall and the local pds number. Gpd dont work anyways, maybe they can start busting scammers between naps, bs,all around laziness, and food.I ask people to put their phone numbers in the reply or i will mark as spam and be done with them. I google the numbers first. If their reply mentions anything about an item it is automatically spam.
