Greetings.
I just found this site and thought I would say hi. I was looking around on the web cuz I am getting ready to start restoring my SE Quad I got in '81 and stumbled upon this forum. Been reading it for a few days and really have enjoyed it.
I started racing in '80, and raced until late '85 or so. I kept riding and eventually moved up to mountain bikes. Have done that off and on for years. I want to get the Quad looking sharp again so I can goof around on it a bit. Maybe get a cruiser for some more serious fun stuff (wow, is that an oxymoron?)
Anyway, I dig the site and look forward to offering my two-cents worth here and there.
I will post some old pics when I get the time this weekend.

I think I will take some pics of it as it sits now. And then update with some progress and then an after photo.

Sweet! I can't wait to see the Quad. Welcome aboard! Back in the day the new guy/gal bought everyone a metaphorical round of joe, but with over 20,000 members that's a big ask even metaphoricly speaking.

Where are you from? There are various threads that are dedicated to particular regions and eras. Those are always a fun trip down memory lane.
