there have definitely been some wooden bike parks influenced by trails--an early example being the Chenga wood rhythm section.
but i don't remember ever seeing a box jump designed with the deck slanting up instead of being flat. i'm sure someone's done it, somewhere. any of yall ever seen a step-up box jump ?

I think the 1st flow park in Columbus,OH had one just like that.
The chenga wood rythem section was awesome.

there are 2 at mesh in florida. the first is a step up, the second is backwards, so when you hit the quarter after it, its the same thing again.

yeah, I have rideen many, many. chenga had one, Blindside north had one, Blindside Indy had a steep hip one, Ray's has a hip one, the old flow had one, the new flow has a HUGE Steep, Crazy one. Most of these were true step typ jumps like you would see at trails, but some simply slanted the top up instead of putting a hump on it...
oh, and I have one in my yeard right now... only steps up about a foot though.
