I've always wanted a cruiser and lucked out yesterday when I found a local guy selling what he says is a 95/96 Redline. Got it for $50. Other than that, not sure what model. Proline maybe? Has Torker tubular cranks, haro bars, aftermarket seat and perhaps brakes as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated it. Not trying to see what it's worth, just want to know more about the bike. Thanks

For $50 you got an awesome score!

the sprocket looks to be an older one probably worth the fifty alone...

I actually noticed that after looking at the pics up close (and comparing it to my other sprocket)- noticing it was more of the bubble font. Unfortunately, the sprocket is warped pretty good (also noticed after riding it extensively). Can those things be straightened?

Anyway, I swapped my single pinch bolt flights with mid school redline "cross" sprocket over to the cruiser. Looks much better with the flights on it IMO.

Absolutely love the bike.

I dunno what year it is or the model or anything but I do know it would look tons better in my collection. Yep there it is my first post. tongue.gif Nice find and thats a great deal. My guess would be early 90s.

That's actually a late 90's cruiser with the great geometry to go along with it. I forget the name that went with them, "888" maybe. $50 was a STEAL. You could go race that bike or ride trails with it as is.

Looking through the bmx museum and I'm I'm thinking a late 90's RL544 or 444, based on what I'm seeing out there. I think the proline's had the AL frames, no?
